This policy describes what dxd.link collects, why, how we handle it, and the analytics tools we use to operate and improve the service.
Account information you provide (name, email, username), content you publish on your dxd.link page, and technical data from visits to public pages. For page-owner analytics, we store views and link clicks in our database (referrer, browser user agent, and a pseudonymous session id). For product analytics, we use PostHog to collect pageviews, feature usage, device and browser characteristics, approximate location derived from IP, and interactions on marketing pages and the logged-in app.
To operate dxd.link, show analytics to page owners, secure the platform, communicate with you, diagnose issues, and improve the product. PostHog helps us understand how people discover dxd.link, sign up, and use the editor — including which public profiles are viewed and which blocks are clicked — so we can improve the service.
We use PostHog (PostHog Inc.) as our product analytics provider. Events are sent through our reverse proxy at the.designxdevelop.com before reaching PostHog's US cloud infrastructure. When you are signed in, we associate activity with your account. When you visit a public dxd.link profile, we associate anonymous activity with that profile (by page id and public handle) so we can measure traffic patterns. We do not use PostHog to sell advertising profiles.
dxd.link sets a pseudonymous session cookie (dxd.sid) on public pages to power first-party view and click analytics for page owners. PostHog may set cookies or use local storage to distinguish browsers and sessions. You can limit tracking through your browser settings, privacy extensions, or Do Not Track — though some features may not function fully if cookies are blocked.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data with processors who help run the service — including hosting (Railway), email (Resend), payments (Stripe), and analytics (PostHog) — under appropriate agreements, and where required by law.
You can update your account details, export your page, or delete your account at any time. Page owners control whether their public pages are indexed. To ask about data in our systems or PostHog, contact us at the address below.
We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by law, then delete or anonymize it. PostHog retention follows our project settings in that service.
