Use a custom domain for your link-in-bio page

On Creator and Founding, your dxd.link page can live at a domain you own, such as www.yourname.com. Add the hostname in Settings, create one CNAME record pointing to cname.dxd.link, and verify. Your dxd.link/yourname address keeps working.

How it works

  1. 01Publish your main page.
  2. 02Open Settings, then Page, and enter your hostname under Custom domain. We recommend www.yourname.com.
  3. 03At your DNS provider, create a CNAME record for that hostname pointing to cname.dxd.link.
  4. 04Back in Settings, select Verify CNAME once DNS has propagated.
  5. 05When the status shows active, your page loads at your domain.

Why www

A CNAME record works on a subdomain such as www. Use www.yourname.com for your page, and set your DNS provider to forward the bare domain to it.

A branded subdomain too

Creator also gives your handle its own address at you.dxd.link, alongside the shorter dxd.link/you.

One domain, every tab

The domain is set on your main page and covers your tabs, so dxd.link/you/work is also available under your domain.

Which plan

Creator

Custom domains and branded you.dxd.link subdomains are on Creator ($4.99 a month) and Founding. Free publishes at dxd.link/yourname.

Questions

  • Which plan includes a custom domain?

Creator ($4.99 a month) and Founding ($49.99 a year). Both also include a branded you.dxd.link subdomain.

  • Can I use a root domain like yourname.com?

Use a subdomain such as www.yourname.com, since setup uses a CNAME record. Most DNS providers can forward yourname.com to www.yourname.com.

  • Does my dxd.link URL stop working?

No. dxd.link/yourname keeps working, so links you have already shared do not break.

  • Do I need to buy a domain through dxd.link?

No. Use a domain from any registrar. You only add one DNS record there.

  • Why is my domain still pending?

DNS changes can take time to propagate. Check that the CNAME points to cname.dxd.link and that your page is published, then select Verify CNAME again.
